Where is Sosua?

The town of Sosua is located on the northern, Atlantic coast of the Dominican Republic It is known for its great beaches and a large international community of the town residents.

Why Sosua?

Clean air, clean water, good road, international airport and a wide range of services (schools, clinics) make it a perfect choice for the old and new residents of the Dominican Republic.

The town of 70 000 inhabitants is located in the famous Caribbean beach area and close to the Gregorio Luperon International Airport POP (just 4 miles).

The distance to the capital city of Santo Domingo is 150 miles (240 kilometers). Modern, air-conditioned Caribetour Buses depart to Santo Domingo every hour.

The national road (Highway 5) brings you in a few minutes to the city center (eastwards) or to the town of Cabarete (westwards): the world capital of kite-surfing. Inexpensive public bus and car transport is widely available.
