F.A.Q.: Will I automatically get my Dominican ID (cedula) as soon as I incorporate my company (SRL) here?
Not always. If you don't reside in the Dominican Republic you may still be eligible for an Investors Visa and will be issued the ID. However, one of the conditions stipulated by the Law (Regulation 285-04, Chapter 8, Section 55) is the transfer of at least US$ 200,000 to your new company.
